Problem
The problem we are trying to solve is the clogging of drain inlets due to leaves in the fall. This clogging leads to flooding and thus causes various problems to people.

Solutions
The following are the possible changes to solve the problem:
Make the holes in the drainage inlets larger for faster drainage of water.
Make a net like basket under the inlets which would trap any leaves that manage to get through the holes on ground level. It is important to make this net shaped and not fully closed because we still need to ensure smooth flow of water.
Attach a vacuum mechanism to each of these baskets to clear them of any leaves to prevent them from filling up.
